Anglo-American Redware

One hundred and twenty-eight sherds of Anglo-American Redware were recovered from the Central Trust Site. A variety of vessel forms are represented which include tankards, bowls, chamber pots and plates. These coarse earthenware's were probably produced in New England and can be loosely dated to the period circa 1760 - 1900. The majority of the Central Trust examples probably predate 1800. The photo shows a plate rim on the left and a rim/body portion of a tankard on the right.
