Tin-glazed Earthenware
Approximately 1,725 tin-glazed pottery fragments were recovered from the Central Trust Site, the majority of which are English Delftware. Many specimens are enameled with floral, chinoiserie and geometric patterns, with cobalt blue being the most common colour. Vessel forms comprise for the most part, cups, bowls, plates, chamber pots, ointment pots, storage containers and basins. Most of the specimens date from the period 1700-1785.
