The Uniacke Estate inventory is a manuscript list of the buildings and their contents which were a part of Richard John Uniacke's estate at the time of his death. It was compiled by two of his sons, Richard and Andrew, on Nov.17-18, 1830. The manuscript is kept in the Nova Scotia Museum Library at the Museum of Natural History, 1747 Summer St., Halifax. (Mss./UN.#3/Rare). Listed here is the transcribed section of the inventory found under the heading 'Outbuildings'. These buildings include the hothouse and the outbuildings which were the subject of the 1992 investigations. The original spelling, punctuation, and lay-out have been retained as closely as possible. Many words and letters in this handwritten document are illegible. These are represented by question marks. The section in the original document that lists the contents of the main house is referred to here by providing only the names of the rooms used in the inventory.
