Pearlware Dishes

This punch bowl, a tea bowl, and a saucer (see enlarged photograph) were among 13,840 archaeological artifacts found during the excavation at AkDi-23, the site that likely was the home of Margaret and Stephen Blucke. These pieces are Pearlware, the most popular ceramic ware at the end of the 1700s. Archaelogists found more Pearlware than any other pottery type at this site.
