Dismal/Desmond and Gero descendants Rose Desmond, Ella Mae (Desmond) Sylvia, Clara Louise (Desmond) Reddick, and Elizabeth (Gero) Carvery are all descended from Black Loyalists. This photo was taken in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, in the early 1940s.
