Morning all,
We arrived home on schedule and had a small crowd on the wharf to greet us. The trip from Port Mouton was a lovely motor into headwinds. On arrival the last three of our students left us. They were three good shipmates and will be missed by all.
This weekend is the Seafest weekend in Lunenburg. There will be the usual harbour front water sports, a search and rescue demonstration with a helicopter and on Saturday there will be a schooner launching! Dave Westerguard will be launching his latest schooner at the dory shop with the festivities begriming at noon. It is a lovely boat and with gorgeous lines.
The international dory races will be held this weekend as well. The Gloucester crew have been here practicing and talking smack. (In a good natured way) My honour (and a small friendly wager) are on the Canadian crew who are from PEI this year. GO CANADA!!
We will be away Sunday and Monday but will begin our tours on Tuesday.
