Learning the ropes on Bluenose II
On deck learning
Bring your class or group for an hour of fun and education aboard Start the learning experience with the question, "What's a dory for?" then try your hand at hoisting a sail or throwing a heaving line. Groups of, typically 40 participants, range in ages 8 - 12 years. At dockside, once split into six or more smaller groups, the learning begins under the guidance of Captain Watson and his crew. At on-deck learning stations, participants enjoy memorable, hands-on experiences - for a great morning or afternoon class trip!
