In celebration of African Heritage Month, join us for this free event with a special presentation by award winning writer and poet George Elliott Clarke and accomplished spoken word artist El Jones. Dr. George Elliott Clarke, O.C., is a seventh-generation African Canadian and Professor of English at the University of Toronto. El Jones is an accomplished spoken word artist and uses spoken word performances to highlight and address social justice and equality issues. Sponsored by Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Canada African Heritage Month/War of 1812 Speakers Series
