The Contemporary Art Society (CAS) will be presenting an exhibit of their maritime paintings at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic for the first time as part of the Museum’s Flagship Friday arts series. The public is invited to come and meet CAS members and have a rare opportunity to watch as some create their work in person on site. These wonderful maritime themed pieces will include this month’s "Paint The Same" where artists have interpreted a maritime image through their own unique lens. The event is from 7 pm - 9 pm and is free to the public and most of the artwork shown will be available for sale. Feel free to drop by to see these wonderful pieces amidst our shared Maritime Heritage. Flagship Friday is an initiative at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic to showcase artists who are looking at maritime themes.
