Crane Wood Stookey, founder of the Maritime adventure education program the Nova Scotia Sea School, recipient of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, Tall Ship officer and leadership coach, launches his new book in Halifax on Tuesday, May 15. Keep Your People in the Boat: Workforce Engagement: Lessons from the Sea, draws on the wisdom of our Maritime heritage and on Mr. Stookey’s more than 20 years of “crew-building” at sea. The book speaks to business leaders, teachers, nurses, parents and anyone charged with bringing out the best in others. Mr. Stookey shows them how they, like the captains of Tall Ships, can get excellent
performance from their people.
This free event will be held on Tuesday, May 15 in the Boat Shed behind the main museum building from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
