Expedition Notes:
August 2, 3:00pm
The site has been cleaned up, and the equipment loaded into the truck.

With the site cleaned up, it is almost hard to imagine that we have been working here for the last two weeks.

Note from Tim Fedak, Expedition Leader:

I want to thank the people who participated in this years dinosaur expedition.  It will be a long time before I have a team that has worked so well together, and shown such enthusiasm as this crew.  Thank you... Brian Matthews, Jennifer MacIntosh, Graeme Calder, Catherine Muir, Jim Hunter and Ken Adams.
The dinosaurs collected from Wasson Bluff are of great scientific interest.  With the dinosaur specimens recovered from this site in the past several years, this site is now the richest deposit in North America for Prosauropod dinosaur remains.  The material collected this year will play a vital role in our understanding of these early plant eating dinosaurs, and all of those who played a role should be proud of this years expedition.

This expedition was generously supported by a Nova Scotia Museum Palaeontology Research Grant, and a grant from The Jurassic Foundation, which provides research funding from the proceeds of the movie Jurassic Park.

What a tremendous dinosaur specimen we have been able to collect !
