Workshops and demonstrations are available at demo booths throughout the arena.  Check The Fundy Geological Museum Table for specific times and prices for these activities including lapidary art, turquoise work, arrowheads, wire and bead work and gold panning.  Please look for one of the five Demo booths for these activities.

Field trips include walking tours to the Joggins fossil site, Five Islands Park and  East Bay>
Wear sturdy shoes, sun screen, water, layered clothing and bring your camera to capture the beautiful views!
The bug tour is at the arena grounds. For all other tours, you'll need a vehicle to get to the site.

Exhibitors and presenters from across the province offer information on general geology, local rocks and minerals, fossils and much more! Bring your favorite rocks to the Atlantic Geoscience Society and N.S. Prospectors booth for identification!

Canteen on site operated by the Parrsboro Lions Club, proud supporters of our show for over 15 years!

Children's play area in the arena allows the children to enjoy geology through learning experiences. Special new children's activities daily between 1:00 and 4:00 will allow children to have fun while their parents are looking within the arena. Regular ongoing activities include painting rocks and dino crafts and, for younger children,  the sand pit! The Children's play area is sponsored by the Fundy Geological Museum.
