Rhubarb A Plenty
Remember Rhubarb Pie at Grandma's house in the early spring? Come and enjoy a special rhubarb treat on June 13 and 14 and a different rhubarb treat each day of this week long opening event. We have some of Grandma's recipes to share.

Each fisherman had his own colour scheme for the wooden buoys he used on his nets and lobster traps. We have gathered some of them from the Eastern Shore to display for this month only.
July 11
Antique Day 10 am - 2 pm
Don't miss this annual event with antique cars and antique engines on display in the scenic yard of this Eastern Shore fisherman's home. See the displays, tour the house, enjoy the tunes of our musical friends playing in the barn and taste the hodge podge gently simmering on the wood stove all for the regular admission price.

Home is Where You Hang Your Hat
Bowlers, bonnets, beanies and caps, come in , have a look and a little chat. There was a time when a well dressed man or woman would not leave home without a hat, come and see the hats we have collected from family and friends.

Folk artists on site with their work.

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party 2 – 4 pm
Put on your hat and come for the tea party at this Eastern Shore fisherman's house. Don't have a hat come along anyway and enjoy the fun.

1 - 18 Hooked on Mats?
This fisherman's house has more than 40 mats in it , many more than 100 years old.

Hook-In 10 am - 2 pm
Mat Makers are again invited to join us for a day of mat making and fun and everyone is welcome to come and learn more about the art of hooking a mat or watch these talented artists at work.
October 7 and 14
Wednesday Night Ghost Walks
An evening ghost walk around the grounds and house. Refreshments served. Cost $10. Not recommended for children under 8 years of age. Pre-register as space is limited by calling 902-889-2053. Rain date following Thursday.
