Welcome to the Highland Village, a living history museum and cultural centre that celebrates the Gaelic experience in Nova Scotia.

Mick and Mira Jean1

We are so looking forward to our opening on June 1. To celebrate we are holding our special Carding Mill Day that day to coincide with our opening. This is a very special opportunity to see firsthand how the early settlers processed the wool so necessary for survival. More about that as we get closer.

Come home to the Highland Village this summer and walk in the shoes of your ancestors.
