Group Rates for 2012
Let us make Nova Scotia's Gaelic experience a part of your group's Cape Breton visit. Scottish Gaelic traditions and demonstrations are part of daily life at the village. As visitors tour the site they will have an opportunity to learn a Gaelic phrase, hear traditional singing and take part in one of our traditional céilidhs. The arts of weaving, quilting, rug hooking, blacksmithing and others are showcased throughout the Village.
As groups arrive they will be greeted in Gaelic by staff and receive a short orientation of the site. After this they will be free to explore the Highland Village on their own self-guided tour.
Recommend 1 hour minimum to complete the tour.
*Group rate $7.00 per person (15% HST is included).
Tour with Hospitality Option
The group will enjoy a self-guided tour of the Highland Village. After they have walked the site they will have than opportunity for some, tea, coffee and delicious traditional Cape Breton oatcakes. This option is popular with groups from the cruise ships, which dock in Sydney. Recommend 1½ hour minimum to complete the tour.

Storytelling Tour
A special storytelling tour can be provided to interested groups. When the groups arrive on site they will be welcomed a costumed animators who will provide them will a short orientation of the site. After this the group will embark on a guided tour. The visitors will learn about the Nova Scotia Gaels through their stories and traditions as they interaction with other costumed animators throughout the site. Recommend 2 hour minimum to complete the tour.

Storytelling Tour with Hospitality Option
In addition to the storytelling tour interested groups can add a little something extra to their tour. Why not add the opportunity for some, tea, coffee and delicious traditional Cape Breton oatcakes. Recommend 2½ hour minimum to complete the tour.

Space is limited for Storytelling tours. Max 1 bus or 50 people.
