With the Nova Scotia school curriculum in mind, Prescott House Museum offers programs for students in elementary grades. Programs include a house tour and age-appropriate hands-on activities. Students compare the life of children today with that of children in the 1800s. Because of Charles Prescott’s importance in the apple industry, apple activities are featured in the fall. Groups are encouraged to make use of the extensive grounds, gardens, and picnic areas.
The grounds and the first floor of the house are wheelchair accessible
