When you could build it!!

The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax is offering another of its popular boat building workshops this summer.

Minimum age for registration is 18 years. Each student should have some basic knowledge of woodworking tools and techniques.
A complete tool list will be available prior to the start of the course. At the end of the course, one of the participants will have the opportunity to purchase the boat for cost of materials.

Registrations will be taken while we are at the Halifax International Boat Show, February 15 - 18, 2007.

Learn how to build a dory from one of Nova Scotia's most skilled boat builders and a man who knows all the tricks of the trade.

This handsome eighteen foot boat will be built over five days using traditional materials and tools.

On the sixth day, you'll launch her and take her for a row.
