Ongoing Research at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic

The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic leads and supports marine history research in a variety of areas. The Museum conducts staff research, hires researchers in specific areas to support exhibits and the collection and awards an annual research grant for Marine History.
In addition, the Museum supports a number of research associates working in areas such as the Halifax Explosion, Nova Scotian Small Craft and the Royal Navy in Halifax.
