Types of ships wrecked ... Tall Ships

What people today call “tall ships” were called “square riggers” in their time because
they carried square sails. These majestic deep-sea sailing ships ruled the waves until steamships arrived.

Beautiful to look at, they were dangerous to work. Many ended their careers on the shores of Nova Scotia.
