Friends of the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History come in many forms. Each of them contribute to the success and vitality of the institution.
Programs such as museum school classes and events like our theme week “March Break” programs are only possible with help of volunteers from all walks of life.
Research Associates are volunteers who choose to form an alliance with the Museum to carry out research on topics of mutual interest.
For over 30 years more than 20 non-profit clubs and societies with a natural or cultural history focus have been meeting meet at the Museum of Natural History. They welcome new members and have very modest membership fees. Most also welcome non-members at meetings or occasional excursions.
