Visitors to the Museum of Natural History will have lots to explore in all of our permanent galleries and changing exhibition areas. Check-out the real Pilot Whale skeleton from Sable Island; there’s a life-size model of Sei Whale and  full scale model of the Atlantic Leatherback Turtle overhead too. In summer enjoy the magic of live exotic butterflies at our Butterfly House. Families can pack a lunch and enjoy our fenced-in museum backyard complete with picnic benches. The museum can accommodate groups of all ages and sizes, is wheel chair accessible and there’s parking on site. The Museum of Natural History allows you to learn about nature at any time of year.
