these galleries visitors can see a, raccoon,
porcupine, lynx, skunk, and a display of over
60 varieties of birds The moose and deer diorama
is so life-like that you expect them moose to
move at any moment.

of the other animals are not so easy to spot?
Try
and find the snowshoe hare, weasel, beaver and
mink who are camouflaged within this autumn
scene. At nose height to some of our younger
guests is a coyote and a Black Bear who gently
roars as you walk by.

Majestic
Bald Eagles at their nest in the hills of Cape
Breton is popular display featuring an immature
and mature eagle with all of their unique colour
markings.

The
Bird Island diorama represents an important
nesting grounds for puffins, razor bills, and
cormorants.
