A must
stop is the Nature Centre where friendly Naturalists
will entertain and engage visitors of all ages.
At the Museum one can observe a variety of live
critters up close. See lots of garter snakes, a
mice and vole colony , sea-life tanks and
be sure not to miss the real bee hive. Exhibits
change with the seasons.
From late
June to mid September enter the Museum’s Butterfly
House and enjoy the magic of live exotic butterflies
fluttering about you.

A visit
isn’t complete without a stop to see Gus,
the museum’s resident, 86+ year old, Gopher
Tortoise, who is always on hand to greet children.
