Rooms are available M-Sat, 8am-5pm and 7-10pm and Sun 1-5pm
Rules and Regulations
• The meeting/facility rental rooms are part of a public museum. Activities are to be contained to the meeting room and not flow to other areas. Noise should be kept at a minimum.
• Museum staff are not available for set-up, but will assist if additional furniture/equipment are needed. All rooms must be left in good order when vacated.
• Museum staff are not responsible for catering/refreshment arrangements, lost or missing catering items/equipment. The organization renting the space is responsible for informing front desk/museum contact if they are expecting catering, and provide a contact number. Groups must ensure caterers pick up their equipment after the meeting.
• Liquor can not be served during open public hours, but is allowed when the museum is closed. Prior permission of the Museum and a Special Occasion Liquor License is required (Class 1), (Class II if selling liquor). License applications can be picked up at any Nova Scotia Liquor Store. Provincial Laws require that the Liquor License be posted in plain view.
• Smoking is not permitted in the Museum or near public entrances
• The Museum is a scent-free environment
Entering the Building
When the Museum is open to the public, please use the main entrance, unless you are familiar with lower level and informed about where you are meeting. At other times, use the side entrance just off the visitors parking lot (South Side).

Parking (Pay and Display)
Parking is available for renting organizations in the visitor parking lot, located on the south side of the building. The Pay and Display machine takes coins only. Price $1.50/hour (Lot is monitored 7 days a week/24hrs a day).
Liability
The Museum will not assume liability for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to equipment resulting from actions of any person or group renting museum facilities.
