Welcome back OspreyCam!
For 12 years, osprey have been returning to build a summer home on a platform constructed by Nova Scotia Power. Through this video stream, viewers may have the opportunity to watch nest building, egg laying, incubation, hatching, and feeding and fledging of the osprey chicks. Please keep in mind that the camera is to observe these wild birds in their natural environment.
Do you know a young child who loves to touch objects, ask questions and use their imagination? If so, then join Mary on Tuesday mornings for Wee Wild Ones, a program where kids under 5 and their caregivers can explore the wonders of nature. Enjoy stories and puppet shows; explore real museum specimens; build with tree blocks; and much more. Included with museum admission. This program is not designed for daycare, school or other groups.
