Wee Wild Ones (January and February) & (April and May)
Do you know a young child that loves to touch objects, ask questions, and use their imagination? If so, then we have the program for you!

Join Mary on Tuesday mornings from 10:30 - 11:30 am  for the Wee Wild Ones program, where children 0-5 and their caregivers can explore the wonders of nature. Enjoy stories and puppet shows, explore real museum specimens, build with tree blocks, and much more. Program theme changes each week. Program included with price of Museum admission.

Geology 2012: Historical and Theoretical Cataclysmic Geological Events
Welcome to 2012, a year many have associated with cataclysmic and doomsday events. Join a Museum Naturalist on Wednesday evenings this winter for a live show about major geological events that have historically changed the world as we know it. Using the cutting-edge technology of Science on a Sphere, we will also examine scientific models that help us understand theoretical and the “what if.” This show is most enjoyed by audiences over the age of 10.

Ever wonder why the Earth looks like it does today? Join a naturalist for a 20 minute presentation about the several ways our world’s landscape is changing. Earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, and more. Learn the basics of what they are, how they work, and the massive effects they can have!
