Prescott House Museum offers educational and fun-filled school programs for grades primary to six. All programs are created to reflect and complement the Nova Scotia social studies and science curricula.
The program runs for approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival students will be divided into 3 groups, and will rotate through 3 different activities, lasting 30 minutes each. The activities include 1) house tour; 2) outdoor adventure; and 3) dried flower bookmarks. The remaining time can be allocated to playing Victorian games and/or a lunch break.
- Our inviting grounds and picnic areas are available for lunch and snacks.
- The program cost is $2.55 per child. Teachers and chaperones are free.
- There is a small gift shop on site which includes inexpensive toys and souvenirs ($1.00-$2.00).
- Please dress for the weather!
