It is said that prolonged usage of lead serving-ware was the reasoning behind many early deaths, dementia and stunted growth of our ancestors. Another funky fact connected to this photo relates to the spices hanging on the wall. Such spices were often used to mask the "funky" taste of unrefrigerated meats. |
