Garry Sowerby blows on a (very loud!) foghorn as he sits in a fully-outfitted dory at the Dory Shop Museum, Shelburne. There has long been a spirited rivalry between Shelburne and Lunenburg over who builds the best dories. The main difference is that Lunenburg dories have a natural "knee" formed by tree branches, while Shelburne dory makers use "knees" made by joining together two straight pieces of wood.
