Chief Interpreter Ken Clark provides adventurer Garry Sowerby with an apple from Prescott House Museum's orchard. Charles Ramage Prescott, both a well-established Halifax merchant and a pioneering horticulturalist, introduced several popular apple varieties to Nova Scotia, including the Gravenstein, the Ribston, the Northern Spy and the Baldwin.
