The final funky event at Wallace & Area Museum is sandstone cutting, under the watchful eye of Wallace Sandstone Quarry Owner and Operator Dan Flynn. Sandstone from Wallace Quarries was used in construction of the Peace Tower in Ottawa and the Legislature Building in Halifax. Visit the Wallace & Area Museum to learn more about sandstone.
