Historic Sherbrooke Village Development Society Virtual Tour 14 - Cumminger Brothers' General Store The General Store has been restored to the 1870s, when it was operated by John & Samuel Cumminger, members of a family prominent in the history of Sherbrooke. John Cumminger was a master mariner and ship builder, who also had stocks in lumbering and gold mining. Just about anything could be purchased here.
