SHERBROOKE VILLAGE PHOTOGRAPHY CAMP - Two day camp July 21 and 22, four day camp October 1 to 4. Sherbrooke Village will be hosting a two day and four day photography workshop featuring well known photographer Wally Hayes. The village offers a wealth of material for pictures which has inspired photographers for many years. There could be no more beautiful setting for this learning experience than the shores of the St. Mary’s River and the historic Sherbrooke Village site with its wealth of colour and architecture. Wally will instruct and guide students in the basic to intermediate aspects of digital photography. Register for 2 day camp July 21 & 22 or week long Register October 1 to 4

ROAD TO STANFEST SONGWRITERS’ CAMP – June 25 to 28, 2012 Improve your abilities in the art, technique & craft of songwriting! Come to the shores of the beautiful St. Mary’s River for a songwriting experience. There will be sing-a-longs, songwriters’ circles and campfires by the river. This is a great opportunity to work with and learn from talented, well known songwriters. Students will have the chance to compete for a special performance spot at the Stan Rogers Folk Festival. SHERBROOKE WATERCOLOUR CAMP - August 6 to 9 Susan Paterson will be leading a four day watercolour painting workshop in Sherbrooke Village. The village offers a wealth of material for painting and has inspired Susan for many years. There will be on-site painting throughout the Village as well as interior and still life work. Students will work at their own pace, on the subject of their choice, while she guides them in drawing, composition, perspective and colour mixing, as well as various watercolour techniques. Each evening the class will get together for a short critique, conversation and socializing. Early registration is recommended as space is limited.
