 Spend two days immersed in a pioneer adventure as you discover what family life was like in the late 1800s. Dress in costume and become part of an authentic Victorian village diorama! Learn the secrets of woodstove cookery, make butter, or try your hand at hooking a rug. Our program is composed of a range of heritage skills to enable you to step back in time with us.

Sherbrooke Village Inn
 Join us at the Sherbrooke Village Inn for this all inclusive 2 Night Getaway. Take your time and take yourself back in history, visit four local museums and educational interpretive centers. Tour Sherbrooke Village which is living history and depicts a typical Nova Scotian village from 1860 to pre-WW1. Get a feeling for the people who made their living by the sea and depended on the Port Bickerton Light House, now an interpretive center with a beach park and hiking trails. Visit the community of Goldenville, this small community that produced major Gold finds in 1861-1942. Visit the St. Mary's River Interpretive Center and go back in time to get a sense of the fishing history and leisure aspect of life on this magnificent river.
At the Sherbrooke Village Inn, we offer a full service menu - breakfast, lunch and fine dining for evening meals. We specialize in seafood, and have a holding tank for fresh lobster. All our food is home cooked and all baking is done on the premises. Sherbrooke Village Inn offers a variety of choices for accommodation: rooms with king or double beds, efficiency units, bed and breakfast and housekeeping chalets. Colour cable TVs, phones and private baths are available in all rooms.
