Fuelled by emotion and a desire for delivering powerful music, Charlie A’Court is undoubtedly one of Canada’s new generation of fresh singer/songwriters, attracting fans internationally with gutsy vocals and his colourful yet solid guitar playing. Charlie was named Nova Scotia’s top entertainer at the 2009 Music Nova Scotia Awards, Charlie was also winner of the East Coast Music Awards 2007 Pop Recording of the Year and 2007 Music Nova Scotia Blues Recording of the Year for his album Bring OnThe Storm and 2003 Best Blues Artist for his debut album Color Me Gone. Michael Johnson
Michael Johnson was born in Alamosa, Colorado - grew up in Denver and currently lives in Nashville, he has performed and lived more music and recorded more hits than you would imagine. His voice immediately identifies him as the man who sings "Bluer Than Blue," "Give Me Wings," "That's That," and other landmark songs. His music shows a diversity, depth and heart that only come from years of dedication to a labor of love. Michael studied classical guitar in Barcelona, lived in a garage in Bel Air with Steve Martin and Gary Mule Deer, was part of Denver, Boise & Johnson with John Denver & David Boise.

Chuck Brodsky
This down to earth musical storyteller, with his dry, barb-witted social commentary combined with a deep underlying compassion, knows that the best stories are the little things in the lives of everyday people trying to muddle through with some grace. His great gift as a writer is to infuse these stories with humanity and humor, making them resonate profoundly with his listeners. His spoken introductions to his songs can be as spellbinding as his colorful lyrics, which he brings to life with a well-travelled voice and a delivery that's natural and conversational. His groove-oriented strumming and fingerpicking draw on influences from the mountains of western North Carolina where he now lives, and from lots of different good old traditional folk stuff of all kinds.

Doris Mason
Doris will bring an entirely new focus to the writings in the music camp as she has written extensively for the shows; Cape Breton Summertime Review and Drum. This Pictou County native is a well known performer on the East Coast Music scene, and has successfully juggled a busy solo career, work as Musical Director for the hit touring show “DRUM!”, and starred in Denny Doherty’s “Dream a Little Dream”- the nearly true story of the Mamas and Papas.
