Imagine the clang of the fire bell, the smell of smoke and the feel of hot steam as firefighters race to save close-built houses. This is the world of the firefighter in a province made of wood. On display, see almost every type of fire engine ever used in Nova Scotia, including hand-drawn, hand-operated engines, to horse-drawn steamers and motorized apparatus, along with firefighting memorabilia.
