Hit the trail at Uniacke Estate Museum Park

Today Uniacke Estate Museum Park occupies 930 hectares. Visitors enjoy walking along seven trails in both cleared and natural parts of this historic property.

Museum Park’s trail system Along the Lake Martha Loop, visitors will learn about the “ha ha” wall. This feature of the 19th century English landscape garden style is seen in many large estates in Britain, and was copied in British colonies.

 

Trail Information  

  • The two longest walks, at 7 km each, are the Wetlands Trail and the Barrens Trail.
  • Comfortable shoes are adequate for most trails, but hiking boots are recommended for the Wetlands Trail.
