Dyeing for a Walk, $10 (postponed until September 12 at 10am)
Linda Maxwell will lead a workshop in identifying and collecting plant matter to use for dyeing yarn. Participants are asked to bring some plant matter with them, such as dandelions or horsetail. The group will take a walk along the trail near the Mill to identify and collect plant matter, and participants will learn how to dye small samples of yarn which they can take home with them. The Workshop takes place Saturday, September 12 from 10am until 2pm. Registration is limited to ten, and the cost is $10 per person. Bring a bagged lunch, and we'll provide coffee and tea. Call 543-8233 to register. Wile Carding Mill is located at 242 Victoria Road in Bridgewater.

Saturday mornings, 10:30-noon ( July 4 - August 22)
Millie's Craft Program, $6 per child
Bring the kids to the Mill to join Millie the Mouse in making a different sheep craft each Saturday morning. All materials are supplied. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturday afternoons, 1:00-1:30pm (July 4 - August 22)
Millie's Storytime
Millie the Mouse is quite a story teller! Bring your pre-schoolers to hear stories of the girls who worked at the Mill over 100 years ago. Children can pick and card wool, and see the might waterwheel turn. Please call to pre-register. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sunday, June 21, 2:00-4:00pm
Help celebrate the Mill's 35th anniversary as a Museum!
Enjoy displays, crafters, entertainment, and refreshments. Admission is free.

Wednesday, July 1st
It's Canada's Birthday!
Join us at the Mill for birthday cake and lots of old fashioned kid's games.

Tuesday, July 7 (rain date, July 8)
Bird Watching for Children
Susan Wile from the Bridgewater Naturalist Club will help children identify birds found around the Mill pond. No admission fee.

Saturday, July 11
Teddy Bear and Lambkin Picnic, $10 per child
Bring your picnic lunch and make your own felt lamb. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed, most unusual, most lamblike, and most lovable. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please pre-register at 543-8233.

Saturday, July 18, 10am-2pm
Needle Felting Workshop for Adults
Instructor Linda Maxwell will teach you to make a 5" felted item. All materials are included in the workshop fee of $20. Bring your lunch and we'll provide tea and coffee. Please pre-register at 543-8233.

Friday, August 7, 2pm
Official anniversary of the Opening of Wile Carding Mill Museum

Saturday, August 15, 8am
Breakfast with the Birds! $10
Meet at the Mill and enjoy a continental breakfast of coffee, tea, juice and muffins; then join Susan Wile in a trail walk to look for and identify birds. This is an adult program, however children are welcome if they are accompanied by an adult. Please pre-register at 543-8233.

Saturday, September 19
Junkyard Boatbuilding, 10am-1pm
Build a boat with scraps of wood and float it in the Mill pond. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No fee.
